Shoulder Arm Raise Assessment
1. Ready Position
- User stands facing the camera.
- User’s arms are lowered, hanging down by their sides (arm angle less than 20° from the body).
- System confirms this position, then gives a 3-second countdown.
2. Assessment Phase
User raises both arms and holds them straight.
- Once both arms are straight and raised to at least a 60° angle, system starts a 3-second countdown.
- If the position is maintained throughout the countdown, the result is registered.
3. Restart Assessment If:
- Body turns: User torso rotates away from the camera.
- Movement too fast: User raises arms too quickly.
- Arms not straight: Elbows are bent (not fully straight).
4. Arm Angle Not High Enough:
- If either arm remains below 60° for 5 seconds:
- System prompts: “Please raise your arms higher.”
- Reminder lasts 5 seconds.
- If still not ≥60° after reminder, system proceeds and logs the arm angle actually held.
Process Summary
- Ready Position: User stands facing camera, arms at sides (less than 20° angle from body) → 3-second countdown
- Assessment: User raises and holds both arms straight.
- If arms straight & ≥60°: 3-second hold, register.
- Restart if: Body turns, arms not straight, or movement too fast.
- If arms not raised enough: Prompt after 5 seconds, then log/continue if no improvement.
